Total revenue is $200,000 and EBITDA is $40,000. EBITDA margin is $40,000 ÷ $200,000 × 100 = 20%.
How it works
EBITDA margin (percent) = EBITDA ÷ total revenue × 100. If revenue is zero, margin is not shown. Negative EBITDA yields a negative margin percentage.
